Oh, I read a scientific study that said the human attention span shrinks every year. 

      The study claimed a goldfish and a human adult have the same attention span—

      just over eight seconds. Well, I don’t know whether to believe that or not because

      Oh, and…            every year the earth circles the sun one time.

            Oh, and…           time passes relatively, just ask any new mother. 

                  Oh, and…           Mother gave me life and later left me alone.

                        Oh, and…           alone, feeling isolated, may have affected my brain. 

                              Oh, and…           my brain, I read, is solely responsible for my attention span.

Oh, and I read a scientific study that said the human attention span shrinks every year.
