Thank you for your interest in submitting your work for our Spring 2027 issue of Sole Image!

*Who can submit work to Sole Image?*	All currently enrolled Cypress College students of all majors are eligible and encouraged to submit work.
*What kind of work can I submit to Sole Image?*	We welcome submissions in poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, novel excerpts, and screenplay excerpts.
*How do I submit work to Sole Image?*	You will want to use our Google submission form here. There are more detailed guidelines for each genre within the form.
What else should I know before submitting work?	Before submitting your work, you may want to familiarize yourself with our current and past issues to get a sense of the kind of work we publish. All submissions must be original (your own work) and abide by Cypress College school policies (page 182), especially when discussing sensitive topics. Any submissions that violate these policies will be disqualified from publication.
What is the deadline to submit work?	We are open for submissions now through June 12th, 2026, 11:59pm. No submissions past the deadline will be allowed.
Once I submit, how long does it take until I hear back about my work?	The editors carefully read and decide on each submission through a voting process. That process is usually completed during the 2nd half of the Fall semester.
